RefugeGamer FAQ

General Forum Rules and Conduct:

  • Show respect toward all players in game and in the forums. This applies to all admins, members and regulars.
  • Racism of any kind will not be tolerated.
  • No flaming. If you have a problem with another admin, member or regular try and work the problem out. If you cannot work the problem out contact an admin via pm.
  • Keep spam where it belongs... in the spam section.
  • Avatars should not be any bigger then 150px x 150px. Any avatar found to be larger then the allotted size will be resized or deleted.

Vent Rules

  • Follow request made by RefugeGamer Admin or Member (Refuge Sr, or RefugeGamer tag next to vent name)
  • No Racism or derogatory remarks will be tolerated. After being warned the offending person maybe kicked or banned depending on severity
  • Respect fellow players and users while using vent
  • Voice Spamming or using Text to Speech will result in an immediate kick. Further voice spamming and TTS will result in ban
  • Recruiting in vent will result in a permanent ban

Recruitment
  1. Players must sign up in the recruitment section to be considered for recruitment.
  2. Recruitment is a merit based system and not time based. Those wishing to be considered for recruitment must also be active in game and posting in the forums.
  3. Active in Vent is a plus but, is not needed.
  4. At no point should any recruit ask another RefugeGamer Admin, Member or recruit about being recruited. Asking will disqualify that person from being recruited.
  5. Contact one of the Senior Admins for more information about the recruitment process.

Bans
  • All players may come to the forums to challenge a ban in a timely manner. Bans over 90 days will remain in effect unless sufficient evidence is produced to warrant a unban.
  • Any member of another clan or community found to have been banned from any RefugeGamer server or forums will result in a complete ban of that entire clan or community.
  • RefugeGamer reserves the right to unban certain players from any clan or community once any argreement is reached between said player(s) and RefugeGamer.

If this is your first time visiting our forums, allow me to be the first to welcome you and give you some insight as to what Refuge Gamer is and was.

When we started Refuge Gamer in January 2008, we wanted to create a community based on the enjoyment of good gaming and good company. We wanted to create a place where people like yourself could come after a hard day of work or school, sit down in your favorite chair, kick it up and play the games you love. Furthermore, we wanted to provide our fellow gamers with a chance to enjoy yourselves without having to worry about game spoilers such as: hackers, unfair/juvenile admins, or that guy on the microphone who always calls you “Noob”. Although these things sometimes happen, we do our best to make sure they don't.

So, with a retreat from your work, a haven from game ailments - our philosophy: "A Refuge"

In our Refuge, although we label ourselves as a community (a group of people with a common background or with shared interests within society), we really consider Refuge Gamer to be a Family (a group of people functioning as a single household). We truly realize that the heart and soul of our servers and community lies with our regulars. With their hard work and dedication to Refuge, our community continues to grow. Even though this may be your first time on our forums, you're already part of the Refuge Family. So sign in, post up, and get to know YOUR family.
